Jackie Marushka is a Nashville-based public relations executive with over two decades of experience in publicity and brand building. She is president and founder of Marushka Media, a premier boutique PR and branding firm  that represents recording artists and non-profits. When founded, Marushka Media was the first Latina-led publicity firm focusing on country and Americana music. Prior to Marushka Media, Jackie was the first General Manager of Shore Fire Media’s Nashville office where she developed dynamic regional business for the preeminent New York-based public relations and media management firm. Prior to Shore Fire, Jackie had a fourteen-year run at Sony Music Entertainment, culminating as one of the youngest Vice Presidents and first Divisional VP of Public Relations. In that pivotal role, she directed publicity for over 40 recording artists across five record labels. She also managed PR campaigns for a publishing and film companies and handled corporate communications.

Currently, Jackie serves on the Board of Directors for the American Music Association and Small World Yoga, where she helped establish the Music City Yoga Festival. Additionally, she’s a member of the Recording Academy (The GrammysÒ), Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, American Association of Independent Music, the Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Academy Award’sÒ Talent Relations Committee.

Jackie is privileged to devote her time, talent and resources to at-risk youth, including sharing her expertise and love for yoga and Pilates to children who have experienced trauma. She is also a sought-after speaker, visiting universities to speak with students about public relations as well as community events where her advocacy for anti-drunk driving programs is both passionate and deeply personal.  A native of New Mexico, Jackie graduated from the University of Mexico.
